Stuff to do with your kids in Kitchener Waterloo

Tonight (aug 6) is the Movies in the park at Waterloo Park, they are playing CORALINE. It's weather permitting

City of Cambridge is playing Monsters VS Aliens (Dreamworks) tonight as well (bring your own lawn chair) It's at 50 Dickson St
If the weather doesn't co-operate they move it inside.

International Year of Astronomy Star Gazing Party

When: Wednesday, August 12, 2009.
9:30 pm – 12:00 midnight
Where: North Campus Soccer Pitch , University of Waterloo [see map]
Come and explore the night sky with faculty members and volunteers from the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Waterloo and the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada - KW Centre
Witness the Perseid Meteor Shower (may be obstructed) and catch a glimpse of Jupiter.
Light refreshments will be provided
Bring your own chairs and blankets, if desired (flashlights may be helpful to travel to and from the parking lot)
All attendees will have a chance to win a Galileoscope!
Free parking will be available at Brubacher House.
RSVP preferred so that guests can be alerted about the status of the event. RSVP by email at science@uwaterloo.ca or phone at 519-888-4567 ext. 38804
