The Closest I've Ever Been To THE GREAT ONE
Yesterday we ventured outside of Kitchener Waterloo to visit our second favorite Ontario city Brantford otherwise known as the Centre Of The Universe.
The Grand Opening Of The Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre
It was the unveiling of the newly renovated Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre and we had a great time at the grand opening celebration.
The dedication ceremony included Wayne Gretzky, Walter Gretzky, Premier Kathleen Wynne, several local dignitaries and a perfomance by Jully Black

First there was a ribbon cutting ceremony
Followed by a Street dedication to Walter Gretzky
Next up was the unveiling of the Wayne Gretzky monument (which I only got a side view of while videoing it live)
After the statue was revealed we were able to make our way upfront. This is the closests I may ever be to THE GREAT ONE
And it ended with fantastic concert by Jully Black
It was a memorable day and I feel fortunate to have experienced it with great friends!
